Arno Kramer

Over the years Arno Kramer has devoted himself increasingly to drawing. From making a series of drawings came a need to work with lithographs, preferably with the stimulating printer Aad Hekker. Together with him, Kramer created a lot of works at Basement Press Diepenheim. In April 2013 a drawing installation opened in Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris, and in April 2014 LONGING was exhibited in De Pont Museum in Tilburg. His work can be found in countless museums, companies and private collections.
He organized several drawing exhibitions, such as Into Drawing – Hedendaagse Nederlandse Tekeningen in 2005, and in 2010, together with Diana Wind, All About Drawing – 100 Nederlandse Kunstenaars. He is the brain behind Drawing Centre Diepenheim, where as curator he showed various exhibitions with contemporary drawings between 2008 and 2013. In 2019 he started Drawing Inventions Academy, a master course for professional artists.

Since 1995 he has often worked in Ireland, has exhibited there in various museums and has given lectures and master classes.
